OOIDA to launch 'Live from Exit 24'
(Grain Valley, Mo., June 30, 2020) – The Owner-Operator Independent Drivers Association announces that they will present a new, internet-based audio talk show which will begin next month.
The first “Live from Exit 24” will air July 15, 11 a.m. to Noon central and will feature host Mike Matousek, Manager of Government Affairs with special guest host, Lewie Pugh, Executive Vice President of OOIDA.
“We want to expand how we communicate with members and take advantage of the opportunities the Internet allows for live audio streaming,” said Matousek. “
Listeners will be able to hear the show in one of three ways: on the OOIDA website, on YouTube or on Facebook.
“We hope to bring a combination of quality, online audio with an interactive listening experience,” said Matousek. “And we especially want to offer ways for members to call us on a live format and talk about the issues. We know they have much to say on the many things we are working on as far as the issues that affect them.”
Listeners will also have the option to participate on the show by calling and talking to the hosts.
“Live from Exit 24” will be found at: www.ooida.com, YouTube.com/TruckersOOIDA and Facebook.com/OOIDA. Exact URLs and event postings will be published in the coming weeks.
