Case Name:

Court Name:

Supreme Court of the United States

Case Filed:

2/22/2013

Case Settled:

1/1/1900

Allegations

Interest of Amicus Curiae:

OOIDA submitted the brief to describe how the issues before the Court affect long-haul interstate truck operators, and how the Court’s decision could affect interstate trucking in the future.

* Amicus curiae: Means, literally, friend of the court.  A person with strong interest in or views on the subject matter of an action, but not a party to the action, may petition the court for permission to file a brief, ostensibly on behalf of a party but actually to suggest a rationale consistent with its own views.  In this case, OOIDA is the Amicus Curiae.
